Holiday Cheer

It's customary in Japan to get smashed at the end of the year as part of the "bounenkai" tradition (忘年会), which literally translated means "party to forget the year". It's basically a time to get together with co-workers and friends, get trashed and loosen up a bit.

Since I don't work at a company any more, I don't attend as many of these as I used to, but Katsui-san from World Tour Planners was kind enough to invite me to his company party. Also in attendance were two fellow underwater photographers, Takaji Ochi and Kyu Furumi.

Let's just say copious quantities of alcohol were consumed and it was nigh impossible for anyone to hold a camera still enough to get a proper photograph.
