Yeah, lots of kids these days don't know anymore what the outside world has to offer. I spent my youth building camps in the back yard, watching tadpoles grow into frogs/toads, watching birds hatch from eggs we had incubated, playing tennis on the street and asking drivers to take another route because we had installed a net across the road, etc...

Anyway, on the "dandelions"...In Dutch they are called "paardenbloem" (paarden= horses, bloem= flower) and but here in Flanders (Flemish part of Belgium) we call them "pisbloem" (pis= pee, referring to the diuretic effect the plant apperently has when ingested.)
