Off to Perth

It’s the Lunar New Year, and I’m off to Western Australia to photograph Australian sea lions. I’m looking forward to playing with the adorable pinnipeds again, and also to pigging out on the excellent Chinese food at Billy Lee’s.

Given that it’s snowed quite a bit recently, I’m particularly grateful to be heading toward warmer weather (it’s summer Down Under). On that note, I leave with a couple of photos of Pasta enjoying one of our extra long play sessions in the snow a few days ago.

Pasta doesn’t go on trip with you does he?

We have a black lab/chow too and we hate going on trip and leave him at kennel (even though the one we pick is open kennel and he gets to play with others, but still stressful for him)

    Safe traveling…

    Tony,

A return to Oz is hopefully in my not too distant future, as well! I have done a bit of diving near Darwin but would love to see a lot more of western Oz.

Enjoy a safe trip. Any chance you can get a bit south of Perth and dive with the sea dragons? Always enjoy pics of the leafy and weedy sea dragons.

    Hey T,
    Gong Xi Fa Cai!
As usual, wonderful candid shots of Pasta…no wonder she has such a following!
Living where it’s perpetually summer, I love the snow and, in particular, winter time in the mountains of Japan.
Enjoy the warmer climes of Perth and have a great time with the sea lions!

    Hi Tony,

I hope Pasta gets spoilt both when you are away again when you get back! Our Tin Tin does for sure!

I’ll also second the question about coming South and diving with the Leafy’s, oh and maybe even those big guys with the nasty teeth that we are also renowned for!

    … Robert :-)
