Like you, I love the fall season and am currently in Nippon, primarily for Koyo. It seems the colors aren't as beautiful as it's been warmer this year. We were in Kyoto, and even up in Hieizan we had to actually look for the colors. But in Koyasan where the temperatures were much lower, the full spectrum of autumnal colors was in display - awesome!!! I regret I'm a bit late for kuri, but am enjoying mikan here!
